I am very satisfied with my new Swissgear rucksack. It is strong, robust, can accommodate loads of stuff, and is comfortable to wear. It looks good too, and I like all the pockets and compartments! I can easily carry my lap top computer plus files and all sorts of other things. I highly recommend it.

I bought this with a Targus XL and a Swissgear Ibex to compare before deciding which two to return. Reasonably bland to look at, so might not attract the attention of someone who wants your laptop. The Targus XL is very bland. The Swissgear Ibex is nicer to look at than this one. Not as many pockets/compartments as the Swissgear Pegasus (but a lot more than the Targus XL) but they're better/bigger and more cushioned. Much better than the Swissgear Ibex for large items such as files, and the gadget compartment is bigger. Light-coloured insides (unlike the Targus XL) should make it easy to rummage through for your stuff. I went for this one in the end and returned the other two. I've marked it up in comparison to the other two and because of my bulky needs, which may be unfair. This one seems to be more expensive than the Swissgear Ibex for now at least.

It has made carring around a large laptop more bareable.
It is very comfortable and easy to access the many pockets.
A colleague tried mine and has also purchased one.

Good quality, easy to organizing inside the backpack, easy to put in/take out things. Very comfortable to wear and my laptop (DELL 1737 - which is quite huge 17") fit in comfortable. As many reviewer, I have a Targus laptop backpack too, but it's not to be a patch on the Swissgear backpack. Oh, and as the manufacturer says it is not fall over standing on the floor with a laptop in. I haven't tried in rain so I can't say anything about its rainproof feature.
